As explained in Application Naming, installing SIP Servlet application SAR files in Rhino SIP Servlet automatically creates application name references. These are mappings between the application’s name and its corresponding SLEE ServiceID.
It should not be necessary to manually update application name references, unless you’re deploying a hybrid application, or there is a naming conflict.
