Rhino SIP Servlet lets users deploy SIP Servlet applications alongside SLEE applications in the same Rhino instance.

It works using a SLEE Resource Adaptor (RA) and supporting libraries, which together provide a SIP Servlet 1.1 container environment inside the Rhino’s JAIN SLEE container. SIP Servlet applications can then be deployed into Rhino, without being aware they are running on a SLEE.

Note Rhino SIP Servlet adds SIP Servlet 1.1 (JSR289) support to the OpenCloud Rhino JAIN SLEE platform.

Installing and configuring Rhino SIP Servlet

Installing Rhino SIP Servlet means installing the Rhino SIP Servlet RA and its supporting libraries, and configuring the RA with suitable settings for its environment, such as network addresses, ports and so on. Once installed, Rhino SIP Servlet can be managed using its command-line console (sipservlet-console) or Ant tasks.

Tip This guide explains the procedures for installing and managing Rhino SIP Servlet.
