The rhino-snapshot script exports the state of some or all profile tables out of the SLEE in binary format. These binary snapshots can then be inspected, converted into a form suitable for re-importing, and re-imported later.

You extract and convert binary images of profile tables using the following commands, available in client/bin/:

  • rhino-snapshot — extracts the state of a profile table in an active SLEE, and outputs the binary image of that table to a snapshot directory or ZIP file

  • snapshot-decode — prints the contents of a snapshot directory or ZIP file

  • snapshot-to-export — converts a snapshot directory or ZIP file into an XML file, which can be re-imported into Rhino

Tip For usage information on any of these scripts, run them without arguments.
