To configure authentication details for accessing Rhino’s SNMP subsystem, use the following rhino-console commands.

`setsnmpusercommunity`

Command	setsnmpcommunity <community> Description Sets the SNMP community.

    Sets the SNMP community.

Example

`setsnmpuserdetails`

Command	setsnmpuserdetails <username> <authenticationProtocol> <authenticationKey> <privacyProtocol> <privacyKey> Description Sets the SNMP v3 user and authentication details.

  Description
    Sets the SNMP v3 user and authentication details.

`setsnmpuserengineid`

Command

setsnmpuserengineid <hex string>
  Description
    Sets the user configurable portion of the SNMP LocalEngineID.

This only sets a user-configurable portion of the engine ID — not the entire engine ID. The SNMP agent calculates full engine ID from the OpenCloud enterprise OID, the node ID, and the user-configurable string.

You need to change the user-configurable string only if the SNMP agent needs to distinguish between different clusters on the same network.

Command	getsnmpuserengineid Description Returns the user configurable portion of the SNMP LocalEngineID.

  Description
    Lists the SNMP EngineIDs for each node.

Each node returns a different but similar engine ID.
