AVPs defined in the Sentinel IPSMGW product

The Sentinel IPSMGW product extends Sentinel Express and adds the following AVP.

OC-SM-Message-Type

The OC-SM-Message-Type AVP (AVP code 2007) is of type Enumerated. It is set based on the MT ForwardSM TPDU Type. This is an OpenCloud defined AVP, as the standardized SM-Message-Type AVP in 3GPP TS 32.274 v8.2.0 does not allow MT values.

  • SUBMISSION = 0

  • DELIVERY_REPORT = 1

  • STATUS_REPORT = 100

  • DELIVER = 101

OC-Plan-Id

The OC-Plan-Id AVP (AVP code 1030) is of type UTF8String. It contains the PlanId for the session. Refer to the DetermineSessionPlan feature for more information on how this is set.

OC-Submit-Report-Type

OC-Submit-Report-Type AVP (AVP code 1031) is of type Enumerated. It contains the submit report type for the MOFSM PlanId.

It can be one of the following:

  • NOT_APPLICABLE = 1

  • SUCCESS = 2

  • INVALID_SMS = 3

  • COMMUNICATION_ERROR = 4

  • U_ABORT = 5

  • P_ABORT = 6

  • INVOKE_TIMEOUT = 7

  • MO_FORWARD_SM_ERROR = 8

  • SS7_STACK_ERROR = 9

OC-Correlated-Id

The OC-MT-Correlated-Id AVP (AVP code 1032) is of type UTF8String. It contains the MT-Correlation-Id associated with the session IMSI.

OC-MT-PS-Delivery-Result

OC-MT-PS-Delivery-Result AVP (AVP code 1033) is of type Enumerated and specifies the PS-Delivery status.

It can be one of the following:

  • NOT_ATTEMPTED = 1

  • DELIVERY_SUCCEEDED = 2

  • DELIVERY_FAILED = 3

OC-MT-CS-Delivery-Result

OC-MT-CS-Delivery-Result AVP (AVP code 1034) is of type Enumerated and specifies the CS-Delivery status.

It can be one of the following:

  • NOT_ATTEMPTED = 1

  • DELIVERY_SUCCEEDED = 2

  • DELIVERY_FAILED = 3

OC-IMPU

OC-IMPU AVP (AVP code 1035) is of type UTF8String. Is set on success PS-Delivery and contains the default Public User Identity for the session.

AVPs defined in Sentinel Express

The following AVPs are defined in the Sentinel Express product, and are used in the Sentinel IPSMGW product.

OC-Sentinel-Selection-Key

The OC-Sentinel-Selection-Key AVP (AVP code 1001) is of type UTF8String and contains the Sentinel Selection Key for the session.

OC-Sentinel-Selection-Key AVP

The OC-Sentinel-Selection-Key AVP (AVP code 1001) is of type UTF8String and contains the Sentinel Selection Key for the session.

OC-Play-Announcement-Id

The OC-Play-Announcement-Id AVP (AVP code 1002) is of type Integer32 and contains the ID of an announcement used during the session.

OC-Call-Type

The OC-Call-Type AVP (AVP code 1003) is of type Enumerated and specifies the type of trigger for the session.

It can be one of the following:

  • MOC = 1, the trigger was Originating

  • MOC_3RDPTY = 2, the trigger was a non-SIP third party call setup request (e.g. via HTTP)

  • MTC = 3, the trigger was Terminating

  • MFC = 4, the trigger was Forwarding

  • EMERGENCY_CALL = 9, the trigger was classified as emergency

OC-Service-Type

The OC-Service-Type AVP (AVP code 1004) is of type Enumerated and specifies the initiating message for the session.

It can be one of the following:

  • UNKNOWN = 1, the initiating reason is unknown

  • SipCall = 2, the session was initiated due to receipt of SIP INVITE

  • Subscription = 3, the session was initiated due to receipt of SIP SUBSCRIBE

  • Message = 5, the session was initiated due to receipt of SIP MESSAGE

OC-Charging-Result

The OC-Charging-Result AVP (AVP code 1006) is of type Integer32. It contains the value of the Diameter CCA result-code AVP. In case there was no Ro session, it will have the value of -1.

OC-OCS-Session-Id

The OC-OCS-Session-Id AVP (AVP code 1008) is of type UTF8String. It indicates a Session Id used to communicate with the OCS during the session.

OC-OCS-Session-Termination-Cause

The OC-OCS-Session-Termination-Cause AVP (AVP code 1009) is of type Integer32. It communicates the reason that the OCS (or mediation layer) terminated the Ro session. It can be one of the following:

  • NORMAL_SESSION_COMPLETION = 0, the session terminated normally.

  • ERROR_CCA = 1, the session was terminated due to a CCA error response.

  • CREDIT_LIMIT_REACHED = 2, the session was terminated due to Credit-Limit-Reached.

  • OCS_ABORT = 3, the session was terminated due to an ASR received from the OCS.

  • TCC_EXPIRED = 4, the session was terminated due to the Sentinel Tcc timer expiring.

  • CREDIT_CONTROL_FAILURE = 5, the session was terminated due to a failure generating CCR.

  • CLIENT_ABORT = 6, the session terminated due to a client request, typically as a result of an abnormal event.

OC-Sentinel-Error

The OC-Sentinel-Error AVP (AVP code 1010) is of type Enumerated.

It can be one of the following:

  • None = 1

  • OcsTimeout = 2

  • OcsCommunicationFailure = 3

  • SentinelOverload = 4

  • ProtocolError = 5

  • InternalError = 6

  • MappingError = 7

  • OtherError = 8

If there is a Credit Control Answer, and it has an Experimental Result Code, and that has an OpenCloud vendor ID, then this AVP is filled.

OC-Charging-Instance

The OC-Charging-Instance AVP (AVP code 1011) is of type Grouped. An OC-Charging-Instance AVP represents an online charging instance used during the session.

The OC-Session-Counter AVP (AVP code 1013) is of type Grouped. It represents a Session Counter used during the session.

OC-Cumulative-Committed-Used

The OC-Cumulative-Committed-Used AVP (AVP code 1017) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the cumulativeCommittedUsed unit counter documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Cumulative-Granted

The OC-Cumulative-Granted AVP (AVP code 1018) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the cumulativeGranted unit counter documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Cumulative-Granted-Refund

The OC-Cumulative-Granted-Refund AVP (AVP code 1019) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the cumulatedGrantedRefund unit counter documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Cumulative-Requested

The OC-Cumulative-Request AVP (AVP code 1020) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the cumulatedRequested unit counter documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Cumulative-Requested-Refund

The OC-Cumulative-Requested-Refund AVP (AVP code 1021) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the cumulativeRequestedRefund unit counter documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Cumulative-Sent-Used

The OC-Cumulative-Sent-Used AVP (AVP code 1022) is of type Integer64. It contains the cumulative used units sent to the OCS for the Session Counter.

It contains the value of the cumulativeSentUsed unit counter documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Cumulative-Suspended-Duration

The OC-Cumulative-Suspended-Duration AVP (AVP code 1023) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the cumulativeSuspendedDuration field documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Reported-Used

The OC-Reported-Used AVP (AVP code 1024) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the reportedUsed field documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Pending-Requested

The OC-Pending-Requested AVP (AVP code 1025) is of type Integer64.

It contains the value of the pendingRequested unit counter documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Start-Time

The OC-Start-Time AVP (AVP code 1026) is of type Time.

It contains the value of the startTime field documented in Session counter structure.

OC-End-Time

The OC-End-Time AVP (AVP code 1027) is of type Time.

It contains the value of the endTime field documented in Session counter structure.

OC-Event-Id

The OC-Event-Id AVP (AVP code 1028) is of type UTF8String.

If the initial request for the Session was a SIP SUBSCRIBE or SIP NOTIFY request, this is set to the value of the Event: header in the initial request.

If the initial request for the Session was a SIP REFER request, this is set to the CSeq of the REFER request.

OC-Call-Id

The OC-Call-Id AVP (AVP code 1029) is of type UTF8String. This is set to the Call-ID of the initial SIP request for the Session.

OC-End-Session-Cause

The OC-End-Session-Cause AVP (AVP code 1036) is of type Integer32. This is set to indicate the reason a service or feature ended the session.

If the LegManager.endSession instruction is called with a cause value, the AVP value is set to the cause value.

Otherwise, if the session state field endSessionCause is set, the AVP value is set to the session state value.
