SIS 2.7 builds on the previous SIS releases from OpenCloud.
Some of the SIS 2.7 highlights are:
-
SIS-SIP failover rate limiting — Support for rate limiting SIP session failover adoption.
-
Configurable rate limited SIP response — Rate-limited SIP response status code and Retry-After are now configurable.
-
New Rhino version required — SIS now requires Rhino 2.7.0.
SIS-SIP failover rate limiting
The SIS now supports rate limiting of SIP session failover adoption. This means if a SIS cluster node fails, the adoption of the active SIP sessions from that node by another cluster node can be throttled. See Rate limiting in the SIS Administration Guide for more information.
Configurable rate-limited SIP response
The status code and Retry-After header value of the SIP message sent in response to a rate limited request are now configurable. See rate-limited error response status code and Retry-After period configuration properties.
