Rhino Telecom Application Server
Rhino is real-time Telecom Application Server (TAS) which is designed and optimised for event driven (i.e. asynchronous) communication applications. Rhino TAS fully implements both Java application server standards (JSLEE and SIP Servlet) in a single, converged container. Rhino TAS supports, manages and executes portable, converged carrier grade services across Web, IP and SS7 networks.
Download options include the full, production-ready Rhino package and the Rhino SDK, intended to support development of prototype and proof of concept services and the evaluation of Rhino.
Rhino Connectivity
Rhino SIP connectivity is provided by the SIP Resource Adaptor or Rhino SIP Servlet.
SIP Resource Adaptor The resource adaptor type and resource adaptor for SIP and example applications. |
|
Rhino SIP Servlet The Rhino SIP Servlet platform. |
Rhino Charging and Policy integration is provided by the Diameter Resource Adaptors.
Diameter Resource Adaptors This package contains resource adaptor types and resource adaptors for Diameter CCA, Diameter Ro, Diameter Sh, Diameter Rf, Diameter Gx, Diameter Base. |
Other protocols are available as individual resource adaptors.
CDR resource adaptor The CDR resource adaptor binaries and Javadoc and source code of a test application. |
|
Correlation resource adaptor The Correlation resource adaptor binaries and Javadoc and source code of a test application. |
|
DB Query resource adaptor The DB Query resource adaptor binaries and Javadoc and source code of a test application. |
|
HTTP resource adaptor The HTTP resource adaptor binaries and Javadoc and source code of a test application. |
|
LDAP resource adaptor The LDAP resource adaptor binaries and Javadoc and source code of a test application. |
|
MM7 resource adaptor The MM7 Resource Adaptor, example services, javadoc and simulators. |
|
SMPP resource adaptor The SMPP resource adaptor binaries along with some example services, javadoc and SMPP protocol simulators. |
|
SOAP resource adaptor The SOAP resource adaptor binaries and Javadoc and source code of a test application. |
Rhino Tools
The Rhino Element Manager (REM) is a standalone web application to manage Rhino instances.
The Scenario Simulator & Editor is a comprehensive protocol simulation tool containing Scenario Packs for various protocols, a Scenario Editor and the Scenario Simulator itself.
Scenario Packs provide network protocol support for the Scenario Simulator. Scenario Packs are bundled with the Scenario Simulator as well, but updates may be made available separately.
The FSM Tool is used to create JSLEE service components by defining a finite state machine specification for the service. The specification is used to generate an SBB class which is then extended to complete the component by implementing state machine action Java logic.
This package contains XDoclet modules for generating deployment descriptors for components to be deployed in Rhino, based on special tags in the Java source files.
This package contains an SDK with tools for developers to generate SLEE Resource Adaptors from OpenAPI definitions of REST APIs.
